    Heat Take 2-1 Series Lead Over Knicks

    The Miami Heat defeated the New York Knicks 105-86 on Saturday, in Game 3 of their second-round playoff series. The Heat took a 2-1 lead in the series and moved one step closer to advancing.

    Jimmy Butler led the Heat with 24 points, six rebounds, and six assists. Bam Adebayo added 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Kyle Lowry had 18 points and nine assists.

    RJ Barrett led the Knicks with 21 points, but he was the only Knicks player in double figures. Julius Randle had nine points and 11 rebounds, while Evan Fournier had eight points.

    The Heat jumped out to a 10-point lead in the first quarter and never looked back. They led by as many as 25 points in the fourth quarter.

    The Heat shot 50% from the field and held the Knicks to 39% shooting. They also outrebounded the Knicks 48-38.

    The Heat will look to inch closer to closing out the series in Game 4 on May 8. The game will be played in Miami.
