    Heat Bench Comes Up Short in D.C.

    The Miami Heat lost to the Washington Wizards 125-119 on April 7, 2023. The Heat were led by Jimmy Butler, who scored 29 points. The Wizards were led by Bradley Beal, who scored 33 points.

    The Heat were playing without Kyle Lowry, who was out with a hamstring injury. The Wizards were playing without Spencer Dinwiddie, who was out with a knee injury.

    The Heat started the game strong, leading by as many as 14 points in the first quarter. However, the Wizards fought back and took a 63-62 lead at halftime.

    The Wizards extended their lead in the third quarter, leading by as many as 16 points. However, the Heat made a run in the fourth quarter and cut the lead to two points with 2:30 remaining in the game. However, the Wizards were able to hold on for the win.

    The Heat shot 43.2% from the field and 32.1% from three-point range. The Wizards shot 47.1% from the field and 33.3% from three-point range.

    The Heat outrebounded the Wizards 51-48. The Wizards had 22 turnovers, while the Heat had 15 turnovers.

    The Heat will next play the Boston Celtics on April 9, 2023. The Wizards will next play the Philadelphia 76ers on April 10, 2023.
