Dolphins Looking To Move Up, Grab Gibbs

The Miami Dolphins have been linked to Alabama running back Jahmyr Gibbs in recent weeks. The Dolphins hold the 51st overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, but they are reportedly interested in trading up to select Gibbs.

Gibbs is a versatile running back who can do it all. He has the speed to take it the distance in the open field, but he is also a capable receiver out of the backfield. He is a perfect fit for the type of offense that Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel wants to run.

McDaniel is a disciple of Kyle Shanahan, and he has a history of using running backs in a variety of ways. He helped to make Raheem Mostert a star in San Francisco, and he is confident that he can do the same with Gibbs.

The Dolphins have a need at running back. Myles Gaskin is the team’s leading rusher, but he is coming off a down year. The Dolphins also have Salvon Ahmed and Gerrid Doaks on the roster, but neither of them has shown the ability to be a consistent starter.

Gibbs would give the Dolphins a running back who can be a difference-maker. He would be a great addition to a team that is looking to make a playoff run in 2023.

The Dolphins are reportedly willing to trade up to select Gibbs. They have several draft picks that they could use to move up, including the 51st overall pick, the 102nd overall pick, and two third-round picks.

It remains to be seen if the Dolphins will be able to trade up and select Gibbs. However, it is clear that they are interested in the talented running back. If they are able to make a deal, Gibbs would be a great addition to their offense.
